It's hard coming up with something to post for a title. Sometimes I don't start a thread just because I can't think of anything.
We were really busy at work last night. Made the night go fast, which was nice I guess.
We really wanted to go home to my mom's this weekend. The bar where my little sister works is throwing her a surprise graduation party, which is just the sweetest thing ever. They got a dj and everything! But, we're supposed to get a big snow storm on Sunday and we can't risk getting stuck there. Booo.
I guess I'll spend my weekend working on my a&p project! We were supposed to have a lab practical on Monday, but he pushed it back until the following week because the Wednesday lab section missed their quiz since not having classes yesterday, so we would have been a week ahead of them in lab, and he doesn't like when that happens. lol So since I no longer have tests to study for, might as well do my project I guess.

Re: :)

  • Being a grown-up stinks sometimes. Huh?

I be working and and keeping up with my dayquil today. H came home last night and I was so drugs on Nyquil I barely acknowledged he was there :-P. But I slept well. Ha.

  • Being a grown up blows.

Sometimes a Nyquil induced sleep can be the best! I always feel sleep-hungover the next day, though. Hope you're feeling better! :)

  • BLAH!

First of all...these kids are all plotting against me...even ds2!

second of all, can you pray for a friend of my baby sisters who was killed in a car accident yesterday morning? And for my sister...she has had a lot of people around her die (including suicides and doing cpr on our grandfather) and she just needs all the prayers she can get too.

Life is hard! This morning my one daycare mom texted me that her nana passed away.....my hormonal self cannot handle all this!

But life is good! We just have to always remember to show those we love our love and to never leave them questioning our love!

  • Hugs Echo!  I'm sorry that they are plotting against you but it'll be over soon!  And that's awful about your friend.  I couldn't imagine trying to deal with all of that loss all at once.

Aggie - feel better!  Nyquil is a godsend but like jlq, I always feel really groggy the next day.

jlq - I'm sorry you can't go to the party.  I'm so over this weather, it's just ridiculous.

Not much going on here.  I've been swamped at work which is nothing new.  I've been doing really well with my running and have been keeping up with it!  I started the c25k program a few weeks in and am already doing 20 minute runs.  Eek!  I forgot how fast it escalated...

Also, DH and I officially booked our vacation to Disneyworld :)  DH had final say as to where we went and he chose Disney.  We're going in May and will actually be there over our anniversary so DH keeps calling this our "Honeymoon Part Trois:  LBV and LBV's Husband's Excellent Adventure" (substitute real names in there).  I'm really looking forward to the vacation :)

Hope all is well with everyone else!

  • Afternoon! Not too much going on here. Looking forward to the weekend though I guess we are suppose to get more snow.

JLQ: I would go anyway. Snow be damned!

Aggie: Hope you are feeling better. I heart Nyquil as well.

Echo: Prayers Sent! May tomorrow bring better news.

LVB: WOHOOO! Vacation!!! Hope works calms down some.

  • I kind of do want to just go home anyway, but I really can't risk getting stuck there. DH and I both drive cars, no four wheel drive vehicles, so if it got really bad we would be out of luck.

LBV -  Can I come on your vacation too?! Sounds fun!!

Echo - Sending lots of prayers!!

I'm really excited because I got picked to go on the DC trip over spring break!! They are only taking 7 students so woohoo!!!
