I am thankful

That I was able to be here for my mom while she recovers from surgery.

Also, that she seems to be doing much better now and is actually able to eat stuff like tomato soup and liquid mashed potatoes!

For coffee. I miss my espresso machine at home but coffee with a mocha creamer has been doing the trick this week.

For getting to see and hear my little gummy bear on Tuesday. Ultrasounds are a wonder of technology!

For my dad getting his power back last night. I don't know what the heck I would do if I had nowhere else to go while our power is out. My house was 48 degrees this morning.

Today, I'm thankful for a lot:

For my amazing midwives. I know this is old news by now, but they are so understanding, caring, and they don't make me feel stupid or paranoid. I am so thankful for their reassurance yesterday!
For this baby. Even though my brain hasn't *really* made the connection yet, I feel really blessed to be able to carry this baby and have no complications to this point. It's overwhelming to think about how amazing this is.
That it's Thursday! And we may be getting a foot of snow... if that's the case I might be able to work from home tomorrow
Again, re: the snow - we can try out some lower elevation snow parks this weekend instead of going out to the mountain! I can't wait to check out new XC trails!
For my sister. She's an amazing mom, she always knows what to say, I'm already learning a lot from her, and she hasn't changed at all since having the babies.
Oh goodness, for the BABIES! I can't wait to see my niece and nephew in 2 weeks after not seeing them since they were born in December!
DH. He puts up with my emotions and helps in every way I could imagine, I feel closer to him now than ever before.

I'm thankful for...

-DH driving me to work the past two days. My car would NOT have been happy on these roads.

-random thank you emails from a "higher-up" in my company. I was really just doing my job but it's nice to be appreciated.

I'm also thankful for seeing little bean this week and knowing that he/she is getting stronger by the day.

For DH and being wonderful. He's been putting in extra overtime since Saturday and still made it to his gym to help teach the classes.

For Lexi being the happy, bouncy little girl when her big girl bed was done. **It was also a successful night sleeping in it too!**

For my dad who helped me attach the bed frame to the headboard. He had to make a few new holes in order for it to fit properly.

For the salad I had for lunch. It really hit the spot and made me happy and sleepy at the same time.

I'm thankful for...

- My H for everything he does for me. He's been such a trooper with my moodiness and has been extra helpful around the house.

- The little nugget growing inside me that so far is healthy and strong.

- My awesome co-workers. Work would be unbearable without them.
