FRIDAY!!

What's everyone up to this weekend?

Tonight: no plans!

Sat: Brian is going to a baseball coaching clinic in the morning while I take the boys to a playdate.  No afternoon plans, but the playroom looks like a tornado came through and if I step on one more tiny lego, I'm going to scream.  So that area needs some serious organization attention.  And hopefully I will work up the energy to do another day of the 30 day shred...I did it last night and I'm struggling to walk today, ouch!

Sun: Jake & Brian are going skiing, so Liam and I have the day to ourselves!  we'll see what the weather does, if it's not bad we'll venture out to church in the morning and run some errands before heading home.  I plan to spend his nap time curled up under a blanket catching up on the real housewives of beverly hills and Vanderpump Rules.  Priorities...I have them.

Re: FRIDAY!!

  • woo hoo!

Tonight we are having dinner with the neighbors in honor of the Olympic Games opening ceremonies will be making some Russian type food!  We did this for the summer games too, it was lots of fun.

Tomorrow EJ has dance, I should grocery shop cause Sunday we are going up to K's parents house to celebrate  the birthdays of his parents and grandparents. I should also tidy up my house, cause Oi... it has gotten cluttery this week
  • Tonight: probably take out and some tv

Tomorrow: dd's last gymnastics class so parents can go watch. So we'll go to that. Then she has soccer. Sometime on Saturday we plan to go see the new Lego movie.

Sunday: groceries and dog training class

  • Whirlwind. Heather's party is noon on Sunday and most of tonight and Saturday will be spent preparing. Thankfully the house is clean, but we need food, tablecloths, favors, etc and then I need to make the food and put the favors together.

The worst part is that my parents can't come this weekend. :-( I'm sad they won't be here and it means I'll have less help.

Related: I'm in denial that they are getting older, despite the fact that they've been grandparents for almost 7 years. The driving definitely tires them out more than it used to. :-/

We are also going to try to see Frozen sing along tomorrow so I don't spend all day doing party prep. :-)

  • Tonight - no plans.  Probably watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, I always enjoy it. And Noah seems more in to it this year.

Saturday - my brother is taking the kids to the Lego movie, Noah has a birthday party later in the afternoon

Sunday - Weight Watchers and then as long as it's not snowing I may come in to work.  We have an admissions deadline today and everyone waits until 11:59pm to submit, so I have a feeling there will be a lot of applications waiting for me.  If I come in when no one is here, I can get so much more done.
  • Woo hoo!  TGIF!

We don't really have any plans this weekend, so it will be a nice break!

Tonight: Order out and rent a movie or watch the opening cermonies.

Saturday: I have a hair appointment in the morning, then we are heading out to pick up some paint samples for our poor man's reno and Mason needs new glasses.  We'll probably have some neighbors over for drinks in the evening.

Sunday: Nothing!  I plan to organize/purge our guest room and linen closet.  Fun times!

  • Tonight - Gary is meeting a friend for drinks, so it will just be the boys and I. We'll probably just snuggle up and watch a movie or the opening ceremony. Start laundry.

Saturday -Paint the bathroom? I am going to a long overdue early dinner with my bff's that I haven't seen in forever! So excited for that! My mom & dad may take the kids overnight, but I'm not positive.

Sunday - Grocery shop, pick the boys up/ visit with my parents.

  • No real plans.  I have been sick since last weekend.  I am finally starting to feel (and look) like a normal person again.  I would like to get to church and I need to find something to put with dd's valentines.  And maybe a dinner out.

That's a great idea!  Sounds like lots of fun.

  • Thank goodness it's the weekend!

Tonight - Grocery shopping and then chilling at home.

Tomorrow-  breakfast with a girlfriend, giving our tax documents to our accountant and maybe a little straightening up around the house.

Sunday - as long as the weather cooperates, going to assist my dad with some chores around his place
  • Tonight- no plans, I have been wanting to go to Ikea so maybe we will do that.

Saturday-I need to get my sister a birthday present and I want to get a mani/pedi. I also need to put stuff away, things are getting all cluttered and with the impending incoming of all the stuff I have been ignoring at the old house I need to do this ASAP.

Sunday-Brunch for my sister's birthday at Max's Allegheny Tavern. Then probably go to the old house and pick up a car load since we will be so close.

  • I'm off & am meeting a friend for lunch and a movie :)

Tomorrow we have swim & gymnastics. In the evening I'm going to Eat Pittsburgh with a friend.

Sunday Steve's hosting game day. I'm making them food & then taking the kids to visit with my parents.

  • I want to watch the opening ceremony tonight, but DH isn't a big Olympics fan, so we'll see. I may dvr it and watch it later ;-)

Our only other plan is a potluck brunch with some friends on Sunday. I need to figure out what I'm making!
