Vampire Academy Movie (spoilers)
H has been oot all week and I finally got so antsy I needed to do something! I saw the movie by myself and actually really enjoyed it. It's obviously not going to win any awards or anything but for its purpose I think it succeeded.
I read Vampire Academy so long ago I had forgotten some important details that were cool to be reminded of on film. They had to cut some things out obviously (like I wish they had spent more time on Lissa and Christians relationship) but overall they stayed very true to the book. I thought the actors were all good and especially liked the portrayal of Rose. I didn't find movie-Dmitri as sexy as I had pictured him but I think the actor did a good job with the character. Rose and Dmitri are one of my favorite novel couples so I was totally cheesing at the end.
The movie is definitely worth seeing.

I loved this series so was disappointed to see the trailer, but you now have me feeling a little more optimistic.
