Just another manic Monday

Morning.
I've been sick all weekend with some yucky sinus/head cold/extreme sore throat combo and now I've got the sneezing/itchy/watery eyes/nose things going on as well. Awesome. I'd like this all to go away now. I was extremely unproductive this weekend. Saturday I laid on my couch almost all day watching stuff on Netflix. Sunday was basically the same, except insert NCIS season 4 in place of Netflix. I did swiffer my floors and run my sweeper, so that counts for something.

How was everyone's weekend? Doing anything fun and exciting?

Re: Just another manic Monday

  • My weekend was good! We finished the school memory books. They turned out wicked good. I had my girls day, which was nice. I think I might have found a new place to get my toes done at. We shall have to see. Dinner was good! The party was meh. Most people there were spainish so lot of the convoverstation were in spanish. I hear enough spanish at work I don't need to here it on the weekend. And all the music they played was spanish as well. Either way I didn't have as much fun as I hoped. Sunday I did nothing as planned. Watched the Oylmpics and sat on the couch. Sude note I am a little annoyed that they showed the same thing over at night that showed in the morning!

JLQ: Booo being sick! Hope you feel better!

  • Boo for a sick weekend! Those are the worst. My weekend was good. Once again didn't accomplish nearly enough but did get a lot done.

Ds2 is super smiley lately which is awesome and exciting. Time is going too fast. He'll be 6 weeks tomorrow!

I love the Olympics! And Canada is currently 1st in medals! I must cherish this because it will never last! I teared up today when we won a gold in speed skating. What a weirdo. I blame hormones.
  • HAHA Echo! I tear watching the Olympics all the time. I blame hormones as well. Don't feel bad! Stupid work is going to get in my way watching one of my favorite Olympic Sports, CURLING!! Not sure why but I love it, even though the USA doesn't usually do to well in it.

  • Oh curlin. I'm not a fan but Canadians usually do well lol.

I love speed skating! And the moguls and hockey obviously.
  • Boo for passing in the sickness. It stinks. I hope you feel better.

Degrea I am glad your scrapbooks are done and awesome. Yay for girls day and yay for a pedi :-).

Echo! I live when they start getting their smiles. Just too cute.

H and I went and saw the play Peter and the Starcatcher last night and it was fantastic. Loved it so much! If it comes to a theater near you you should see it.

  • Aggie: What is the play abourt? Musical? I have never heard of this play.

  • It is the prequel to Peter Pan. So it's about how pan and hook and Neverland came to be. It's a play not a musical.

It's relatively new. I think last year it was on Broadway and won several tonys. It was obvious why last night

  • Today in my A&P lab my professor asked me what amino acids do, and I couldn't remember (this was something from last semester). Then after class was over he says to me, "Jessica, I picked the one person I was sure would know what amino acids do." So I was like "oh great, now I feel really dumb". He says "no, I hold you in high regard". I was like well, thanks, my brain isn't up to par because I've been sick all weekend. He told me I need to eat more  gravy.  I was like...uh, I don't like gravy. He says "well, there's your problem!" Oookkk then. hahahahhahaha. Sooo weird!

Aggie - Yay for seeing a play! That sounds fun!!
Degrea - I need a pedicure soooo badly, but haven't found a good place around here. Maybe I'll just come see you and get one done at your place. haha!
Echo - Has it really been 6 weeks since you had Baby 2?! Crazy!!
