Dental Insurance

We are going to cancel our plan on March 1st and are trying to find a more affordable plan.  We buy it ourselves obviously so it doesn't make sense to pay $62/month for dental insurance.  I got a quote from Humana for $38.23/month.  I have also heard you can get dental discount cards that are about $15/month. With the humana plan: cleanings, exams, and xrays are 100% covered.  With dental discount cards you have to pay for your services at a discount.  I'm kinda stuck at which way we should go.  Which sounds better and worth the money?
