I'm getting to the point that I'm dying to tell my boss(es) about being pregnant. Especially because we've just had position changes/promotions with a few key people in my department. There's a lot of workload juggling going on and settling into new rolls for those people, but they're still the ones I'd go to to let them know about being pregnant and taking maternity leave later this year.
So when did you spill the beans? If it helps at all, I work with a fantastic group of people who have always been very supportive and understanding.

Baby Boy M - 08/01/2013
I told my boss after my 2nd appointment, so about 5-6 weeks. I told her only because I figured since I've been having doctors appointments every 2 weeks, it was only right to say something. I told my immediate supervisor last week, and then the girl I share my cubicle with, I told her, but we talk outside of the office too. Other than that, no one else in my office knows but I'm starting to get a little larger and eating all day long at my desk so I'm pretty sure people will figure it out eventually. lol
(I plan on telling others in the office in a few weeks after we have the next appointment with the genetic testing - just want to make sure everything is okay first before saying anything)
Everyone else: family, students I teach piano too etc was 12-13 weeks.

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."
