Can't believe it's February already!! This months resolution challenge is Do A Chore Your Hate Doing. Why did we agree to this one? hahaha!

Also, where is everyone at with their Do Something Adventurous challenge?

I have noooo clue what to do for "Do Something Adventurous" Can this weekend count? We went out of town for the weekend came home to find out we accidentally left our garage door wide open...that's adventurous, right?!

May have achieved both this weekend. I have a new least favorite chore--cleaning mice toys. We adopted two small mice a little over a week ago. They're sweethearts, but I swear everything gets dirtied up as soon as I put it back in the cage. I rinsed off their running wheel before we left the house. We came home and it looked worse than when I originally cleaned it. Ew.

Does encountering a fear count as adventurous? DH and I are about as anti-crowds/close spaces as somebody can get. When we went to Punxsutawney for Groundhogs Day, we were in the crowd. Unfortunately you basically had to withstand crowds all night if you wanted a good shot of the stage. (Even then that didn't happen--but that's another story)

Yeah, I'd love to hear everyone's ideas for Do Something Adventurous. I'm at a loss. I'm not skydiving or anything!

I'll have to do my laundry a bunch this month and I do hate that, so I guess that may count.

I cleaned the inside of my stove because it kept setting of the smoke alarm everytime I cooked. Hated it, but at least the alarms have batteries in them again!

Still not sure what to do for something adventurous.

I've been painting all of our interior doors and trim and I'm definitely hating that. But, it's amazing what a difference going from a dingy beige to a crisp white makes.

I cleaned the bathrooms and did laundry over the weekend. I hate doing both of those!!

I think I did my Do Something Adventurous over the weekend! We unexpectedly bought me a car, and if that's not an adventure, I don't know what is! haha.

My chore will be washing the floors...I hate that so much. My adventure will probably be this week when I undertake a reno of our basement bath/laundry room.

Took a mental health day from work (the weather + slow at work = I needed a day to myself!) so I am hoping to organize our clothes and make our apartment as pretty as Yasmin's home!

So I did my something adventurous yesterday! I took a personal day to just do whatever I wanted and had a blast. The most daring thing I did was actually buy clothes online, which I NEVER do but always want to. I'm always to afraid things won't fit (I'm small and big at the same time...it's hard to shop!) or will look cheap, but I love the stuff on Modcloth and decided to pull the trigger. I bought these two pieces:

I am trying to get in on the tunic trend, without looking like I'm pregnant because of my large chest. And I have always wanted a grey pleated skirt, which I know sounds weirdly specific, but I just have! I will let you know how they work out

I love that tunic! Super cute! Before my reduction, I had the same problem with those types of shirts so I always used a belt to accent my waist. Maybe try that and see if it works for you.

I hope I can tell you guys soon about the something adventurous I'm doing, but I'm too afraid to 1) jinx myself or 2) be found out, as the Internet is a small, Google-able place.
