pouf help

so I have this arm chair that i'm going to use in the nursery but it doesn't have a matching ottoman. i'm totally OK with that but am thinking i'll want to get something to put my feet up on or sit on at some point when Bear and I are playing on the floor.

do you like this? I do but am trying to decide on color and will probably end up with this blue or brown. I am recovering a chair we already own (partially seen in photo below) and haven't picked a fabric yet but think i'll go very neutral white/tan with it. the walls in the bedroom are a very light sage/green

Re: pouf help

  • I like it but based on your other color choices I would probably go with the brown :)

  • I kind of like this one too...

  • 1)  I wouldn't recover the chair in white. I can't tell you the number of times I squirted Lucy in the face or got breast milk all over the arm of the chair.  Sometimes shit gets out of control.

    2) I like the blue if there will be other blue in the room.  Otherwise the brown or the second choice both seem very nice.

  • @alexisanna44 everywhere I see chairs for the nursery they're all covered in a white fabric! why is this? I have thought about the fact that it could get very dirty and so I am planning a slip cover, but I totally see where you're going with this
  • Yeah.......our chair is leather so I can just wipe off the milk spots, but sometimes you don't even know that it got on there and go back only to find dried milky gross-ness.  White looks great in pictures.  Terrible idea in real life.
