This is a tweet our mayor posted this afternoon. He really means the government offices will be closed not the actual city itself. However more than likely the city will pretty much shutdown. I thought you ladies would appreciate the humor in this considering it takes inches probably close to feet for schools and everything to shutdown there. Here it takes less than an inch.

Haha, we're expecting a foot Thursday, they talked about putting schools on a 2 hr delay.

I already planned that Im not coming if we actually get what we are calling for, last time they put us on a delay I drove the 32 miles up to be told to turn around. Not doing that again!

They're surprisingly liberal with school closures around here. Also, they NEVER delay or close early which I think is exceptionally odd. They did that all the time where I grew up.

Same here. Last time we were on a delay, I had a meeting at a client's house in my town so I went to that then drove upstate to the office. Once I got here, my boss was like " you can go!" arrgghh why didn't you tell me that before I drove up here?!
