I am not sure if any of you remember me. I intro'd back in December but haven't been able to post or comment much recently. For some reason, I can't post on the forums from my home computer, only at work, which means I can only post when it is slow. I apologize for not being able to interact more within the community. I'm going to try to post more during slow periods at work and hopefully get the issue at home fixed sooner rather than later!
I have a question about OPK's and PCOS though. In my original post, I mentioned that I was going to try temping. That really hasn't been working out for me. I don't even have one month's worth of temps because I keep forgetting to temp at all plus I wake up at different times throughout the week. So, I was wondering if any of my fellow PCOS ladies have had any luck with OPK's? I know they don't always read correctly for women with PCOS but I was wondering if it would still be worth a shot to try them?
Re: OPK's and PCOS question.
I set an alarm separate from the one I use to wake up for work. I set it on my phone for about 5 a.m. That guarantees I always took my temp before my work alarm went off and on the weekends when I didnt need to get up early. It was easy, and i never had trouble falling back tp sleep. If you have a thermometer that "remembers" your last temp, you don't even need to record it when you take it. Just check your thermometer later when you get up and plug it in then!

Thanks for the responses, ladies! I'm going to buy a new thermometer that stores my last temp and try setting a super early alarm just for temping. I think I am also going to buy some OPK's to do in conjunction with temping.
My cycles are kind of all over the place (72 days, 38 days, 51 days) but I'm still hoping that they may even out after a few more months on Metformin since it does seem to be helping. Trying to stay positive about it, at least.

My next appointment with my obgyn is in May. We will be discussing our next steps towards clomid at that point. She has said we could start before then but my DH has an appointment with a urologist in March to get an SA done so I want to make sure we have those results before meeting with my obgyn again since those results could affect our timeline/next steps.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the SA turns out well. It would be lovely if at least one fertility related thing would go in our favor, lol.
I definitely plan on speaking with my obgyn about the HSG in May. I'm pretty nervous about it but I know it is a necessary evil.
