Ok here is my random and it is more a funny thing my child says.....

Madi is all about eeny meenie miny moe...... but when she gets to the end instead of out goes Y O U... she says out goes Y M C A. Ha. I think we've watched Despicable me 2 too many times. Cracks me up every time.

Dh and I got engaged 10 years ago today. Seriously how has 10 years gone by already?!?! That also means I've been hanging out with some of you ladies here for over 10 years as well. I can't believe how long the knot/nest has been in my life, ha!!

I have a cold and can't sleep very well. Ugh!! I'm not that sick but I can't get rid of this headache and just worn down feeling. I feel like I could if I could sleep but I can't! This always happens to me and I end up taking something to help me sleep but am too groggy in the morning so its not worth it.

Liam was up last night from 3am-5am....I think it was his coughing that initially woke him up, then he needed a drink, then it seemed like he was just wide awake after all of that. That was 3-5, my alarm goes off at 5:15am. there is not enough coffee in oakland to get me through the day.

My bathroom project started yesterday, and I am beside myself with excitement. It has been 2 years in this house without use of the main living area toilet. It is coming along quicker than I expected too and I get to paint over the weekend!!! Then they should finish up like Monday I think. I like couldn't sleep last night cause I kept thinking about it, and I went into the gutted room like 4 times after I got home from work just to enjoy all the fug from that room being gone. I want to throw a "new toilet party" so I can show everyone how much better it is.
I would say that is all very lame and I need a hobby, but really I think this is my hobby right now. Also, our next budgeted project will be the driveway which is way less exciting planning wise. So perhaps I will just start to find stuff to use in EJ's bathroom which is next on the hit list.

I have to take the big dog to the vet today and Nathan has school tonight. I hate taking him by myself, plus I am going to have to spend hours cleaning my car. What was I thinking getting black interior with a giant white dog.

Gary works at Verizon Wireless. As of May 9, he will not have a job unless he can find another one within the company. I am sure the other 1,000+ people that are losing their jobs are also trying to find a job within the company as well. I swear it's always something!

Leiann, I saw that article yesterday, how terrible

so sorry that Gary is one of the ones affected. I'll keep my fingers crossed that something pulls through for him.

I'm so so sorry! Dh lost his job 2 months after our oldest daughter was born. It's a truly awful feeling. I will cross my fingers that he can get something else within the company.

Thanks everyone! At least he has until May 9! I know that when a lot of companies do layoffs, they are effective immediately.

So sorry--I hope that he can quickly find a job either within the company or externally. The good news is that it seems the job market has been picking up in our area.
