Since everyone is so tired of winter I thought we would look towards warmer times. Are you planning anything for your anniversary this year?

There is a long weekend right after our anniversary, and we usually of 'camping' with DH's family. His dad has land in the middle of the woods that is going to have a cabin on it in the next few years right now there are individual bunk houses. So we'll probably do that if H can take an extra day off work. Me too. We like to try and go for 3 full days up there. Usually leaving after work. It's a 6 hour drive.
Other than that we probably won't do anything to spectacular. Maybe go out for supper?

I'm actually in a wedding that weekend in Pittsburgh, we're just going to stay an extra night and go to a nice dinner.

I have a GYNO appointment in the morning, I guess that's special.

Otherwise, since it's a Monday, we'll probably just try and go out to a nice dinner, or I'll make a nice dinner. We'll see.

H and I both turned in vacation time to go on a weekend trip. It is the only time we have US time vacation-wise. We are thinking of either going to Pittsburgh again or going to Put-in-Bay... I've heard it is pretty cool.

Well, since baby is due about 2 weeks before our anniversary, we probably won't be doing much except enjoying our new baby

. I don't think I'll be comfortable leaving him with someone so soon, so I'll probably just make a nice dinner for us and then we can go pick up some ice cream or dessert somewhere afterwards.

H and I have talked about renting a cabin somewhere on the lake for the weekend. We aren't sure yet. We will probably go to dinner the night of though.

The first weekend of May! The May 2, 3 and 4. I hope it's the same weekend! That would be great!

Well my boss is due May 20th...so with her out on maternity leave around then...as lead..I am not allowed to "leave" so I will have to work our anniversary unless Im able to con a coworker into covering my shift...but as far as weekend plans for it before not sure....but to make up for not really being able to do anything this year...we are going to Richmond April 25th,26th,27th...for the Nascar race and explore some more civil war battlefields since we have done Gettysburg so much lol.

My husband and I went on a mini-moon to this little, quiet resort. We went back there for our anniversary last year, so I am guessing we will go there again thus year.

We've talked about going on a cruise, but some couple friends we met on our honeymoon said they wanted to meet up for another vacation. Last year H and I went to Nashville and it was SOOO much fun! Nashville is actually exactly hallway between our couple friends and us so we might to another trip out there! I've already got the whole week off, sooo......

Our plan is to rent a dune buggy and explore the sand dunes along Lake Michigan, enjoy the sunset and then go out for dinner. I am actually quite excited about this little adventure

We will have a newborn at home (she will be about a month old) so we will play it by ear. If we are not too tired and we will leave her with the grandparents for the evening and go do something fun....if she is sleeping well we might try and leave her at the grandparents overnight and use some of our timeshare points to stay in a hotel downtown. But who knows....for all I know we will just say scratch that and stay home this year.
