It's Friday!

What are you up to this weekend?

We arrived back from NOLA Wednesday night and I'm at work today because my supervisor thinks the sky is falling when I'm not in the office.  I thought I would be nice and offer to come in today. I guess it's nice to be needed.

Tonight DH is going to bbq some steaks.  I'd like to be able to stay up long enough to watch Real Time with Bill Maher because Mayim Bialik is on. We'll see if I can stay up past 10:00 :)

We have no plans tomorrow - yippee!

Sunday we curl and then I'm going to pick up a friend's sewing machine.  Mine bit the dust and I'm in the process of shopping for a new one, so I'm borrowing one for a couple weeks as I can't live without one!

  • Dinner tonight with my parents and stepdaughters.  Tomorrow, we are driving to Dallas for a wedding on Sunday.  We're staying with H's best friend and his wife, and we're going to out to dinner and drinks with them.  Sunday, probably brunch and then the wedding in the evening.  Can't wait to wear the dress I bought!

Tonight I'm lounging on the couch trying to kick this cold (because my phlegm voice is oh so sexy to DH).

Tomorrow morning I'm having breakfast with my parents (DH has to work).  DH & I are having dinner out.

Sunday is probably more resting.  Same for Monday.

  • Going to visit the ILs tomorrow until Monday and we get to meet our new nephew.  The trip will be a complete disaster so I'm putting off packing until the last possible minute and finding any way possible to procrastinate.
  • We get our taxes done in the morning, an hour away which means I'm up early on a Saturday. Not thrilled. Lunch with friends that live out that way.

And nothing planned Sunday. I suppose at some point I should really organize my craft room. But I keep putting it off since my sister is supposed to be moving out and my crafts will go back in the room downstairs. Ughh

Yesterday Dh and I met for a nice lunch after I got off work and before he went to work.  Then I spent the afternoon shopping for birthday presents for my Mom, took my Dad a Valentine and visited with him for a couple of hours, did some grocery shopping and then spent the rest of the evening laying on the couch.

Right now I'm trying to convince myself to go to the gym.  Dh has to work again today/tonight so we'll probably do lunch and then I think I'm going to hang out with my BFF and his boyfriend most of the day/night.

Tomorrow we'll do absolutely nothing other than some laundry.  Sundays are our lazy days.

Yesterday, we went out to dinner and I had a little too much to eat/drink... In bed and passed out by 8P, it was glorious! :)

Today, homework, getting my hair did at new salon (was with my last girl for nearly 10 yrs... Eek!), grocery shopping, then probably head out for a mountain bike ride with DH.

Tomorrow, thankfully NOTHING planned! Might go see RoboCop, lol.
