I consider my H a local celebrity. He literally knows everyone in his small town and everyone who meets him instantly loves him. He has been trying to start a business with a Hot Dog he has created and for awhile it was a big hit and he was winning awards and on local radio shows but it kinda faded because his partners and him couldn't get the funding to actually sell.

H did Americorp for a year after college, we worked for the MD State park system, and we considered moving down there but a permanent position never worked out.

My husband has a scar on one of his feet from putting an axe in it. He was cutting wood and wasn't in the proper stance.

H was this.close to getting his pilots license. He passed the written test, and was practicing the actual flying when we met.

In addition to perfecting certain skills, you have to put in a certain number of hours in the air. He came really close to that number when his instructor basically retired, and became very difficult to schedule flights with.

CT weather isn't exactly flight school friendly anyway, so he finally just said forget it and used the money to buy me a ring instead

I am perfectly happy with that compromise!

H ran a marathon when he was 17 while his mom was extremely sick and didn't think she would make it. The training was a nice get away for him, but because he did it so young and he was still growing, he got tendonitis in his ankles from the marathon and hasn't been able to run long distance ever again.

H is really smart and most people have no clue about it. He scored almost perfect scores on his SAT and ACT. He could have gone into lots of college fields but he chose to do Criminal Justice because that's his interest. Most people think it's because he isn't smart.

Something interesting... hrmm... H drank and partied so hard in highschool that I was really his "first" girlfriend, at 25... he'd had a couple hookups before me, but never dated anyone seriously. If we would have met in highschool, We never would have talked, never mind dated. I was the complete opposite of him in highschool. He gave up hard partying and drinking just before we met, when he decided he could spend his money in much better ways.

Hhas a certificate from a place outside of Las Vegas where he and his brother paid to drive really expensive cars really fast. The certificate if for going 200mph. He is very proud
