MM-Friendly Shoe Source?

I know you ladies are great with the budget shopping tips-does anybody have a good online site for discount running shoes? I need good arch support so I can't skimp too much on quality, but I am comfortable buying online and fine with wacky color combos. My favorite brand is New Balance but I'm definitely flexible there, and I'm hoping to keep it to $50-$60. In case it's relevant, I'm not a serious runner. I occasionally do 5K fun runs, but these will be primarily for Zumba class.

Re: MM-Friendly Shoe Source?

  • Not much help with the website, but I also do Zumba and I have found that my running shoes just do not give enough support in the arches for this sort of activity (I have little to no arch, so arch support is also important for me). I may try a different type of athletic shoe than running shoes.
  • What kind do you use? My instructor mentioned that she prefers running shoes, but she did say it was controversial. I have high arches-the opposite problem.
