  I really loved it.  The missing star was the ending.  It was too cheesy. I needed a little something beyond mixed signals.
  
  I didn't realize when I started it that it was written in letter format. Or I at least forgot when you posted about it.  I added it to my TBR then.  It was a little challenging to keep dates in my head, but after awhile I realized it didn't matter.  The audio had different narrators for David, Elspeth, Margaret, Paul, and Finlay.  It was really easy to tell them apart.
  
  I was almost a little more interested in Margaret's story and what a sweet man Paul was!  I was annoyed that Elspeth just left Margaret the day after a bomb hits their freakin' house and doesn't send word for like a month. OMG, who does that?
  
  Overall, I was able to forgive my annoyances for the wonderful writing and story telling. The accents of the narrators were just divine!  It's not my usual genre by any stretch of the imagination, so thank you for the recommendation!

  I'm glad the audiobook was just as good!  I had no idea about the letter format when I started it so I was a little worried but it worked.  And I really liked Margaret's story too.
