Donating Stuff - Particularly Baby Stuff

Hi all!  I am in the process of decluttering my home.  I have a lot of baby stuff to get rid of.  I had aspirations of participating in a consignment sale and making some money off of it all, but at this point I'm thinking I just need to get it out of there.  I would like to donate it all to somewhere that could really use it.  Any suggestions?  I usually just call the Vets and have them come pick up my donations, but I figured I would look into other options this time around since it is a whole lot of baby stuff.

  • I donated a my stuff to Catholic Charities in Oakland. They have a huge house for young, unmarried girls. They were so grateful for my donations- it felt good to give to them.
  • If you can stand to hold on to it for another month, we will have the trailer here at the church and will be collecting things for our sale.  (We also allow in-need Mommas to shop for free.)  I can let you know when the trailer gets here!  (The sale is in August!)
  • I had to get it out of the house immediately as we are working towards getting our house back on the market and need the space.  The Veteran's of America came by and picked it up yesterday morning and I gave the rest to Keefer and Elsey's babysitter as she knows a lot of families in need.  Hopefully it helps someone out!

  • Hooray for de-cluttering!  (And I totally respect that once you clean it out, you want/need it out NOW!)
Hoping your house listing goes well!!!!
  • The Pregnancy Resource Center in the South Hills could use donated clothes.
