To be patient. I got married right before I turned 19 and I think a big reason I jumped into that relationship was because I wanted to "grow up". My parents were overly sheltering and didn't let me do much of anything really, so as soon as I turned 18, I was "free" and I could do whatever I wanted. But, the plus side of that was that I learned A LOT about life, myself, and relationships because of being in that marriage.

That i'm awful at communication in a relationship. Sometimes I'm way too open and then flip to the other extreme and shut down completely

some marriages don't last forever.

My dad left 10 years ago and I never thought that would happen. Every other marriage in my family has ended except mine and my cousin's who got married a few weeks after me. Part of me is always paranoid that mine will end too.
