When you call the doctor in the morning, talk to the nurse and they say they will call you back with a response... Is your expectation to be called back that day?

I called about my morning sickness because it's been over week and I still can't keep anything down at night. Jeff threatened me if I didn't call... He's worried. He only sees me at night and I'm at my worse.
I called and talked to the nurse. She was really nice, asked if I tried ginger and I listed the 100 other things I've tried. She confirmed my pharmacy, and said she'll talk to the midwife and call me back. I called after 5 hours, got the answering machine. Left a message included that I was leaving early in the morning. Nothing, so I called before the phones are turned off at 430 and it was still the machine.
@PhilaPhan - Idk what their policy is, but I guess I assumed since I talked to someone I'd get a response with 6 office hours left.
Just do it. I called about a UTI after hours once and I was afraid to because was it really an emergency ?? But ultimately they didn't care and I felt worlds better afterwards

They are giving me Zofran, and I got them to call it into the Walmart in NC. I hope relief is soon.
