So, thanks to an article that was posted by one of you lovely ladies a couple of months ago

, I was seriously questioning whether our RE was a good fit for us. DH, truthfully, was turned off by his approach from the beginning. I wasn't too thrilled with his use of the word "retarded" in our first meeting, but thought I was just being hypersensitive. However, I also didn't like that it felt like we were buying a new car rather than starting a family together. I haven't been satisfied with the fact that no explanation (or even testing) has been considered to determine why I have DOR or if something else might be going on. A friend recommended her RE who helped her get and stay pregnant with her twin girls about 7 years ago… I definitely wish now that I had taken her advice from the beginning because I really like this new doc. He actually did a physical exam during our consultation including an U/S (CD11). Previous RE did not, he just moved to pelvic U/S at CD3. New RE was quite surprised to hear that I'm not taking any Clomid currently because my left ovary has 2 beautiful follies ready to go right now (I definitely think this is due to the DHEA that I have been on for about 6 weeks now). He wants me to "get this cycle over" for testing purposes and prescribed a trigger that I gave myself yesterday. With the look at those follies though, we'll def being doing TI this cycle.

FX that this will be it!
He is interested in testing me for immune dysfunction or clotting issues, which may help explain things. He pointed out a few weird findings on exam, and since he could have easily told me (based on all the information he had from previous RE) that it was time to move onto IVF, I think this may be the right direction to go for now. I am curious to know if anyone else on here (especially those of you in the 3T group and/or grads) have ever had testing to look at immune dysfunction or clotting issues? Did this help you find any answers? If so, what was done to help treat you and did it help you have TTC success?
I'm hopeful that the coming weeks will bring some answers even if it doesn't bring us a BFP (although I would obviously prefer that!).

Re: RE 2.0
It came back all normal but they were concerned because many clotting disorders haven't been named/described/etc yet. With the clots in the placenta, there was a strong possibility.
We'd talked about doing an injection (Lovenox, I may have spelled that wrong) to help in future pregnancies but in the end, just went with baby aspirin. I know other people here (thedeatons) have used it.
Good luck!
