Follow-up from yesterday's appointment
I went and saw a fertility specialist yesterday. He didn't seem as concerned with my low AMH number. He said it's borderline. They like to see it about 1, so I'm almost there. He felt pretty good and I'm gathering he thinks I'm not ovulating or I just need stimulated. I have an HSG next week and then day 21 bloodwork to test for progesterone level. He told me a couple of options - Femara, Femara + Trigger, IUI. We need to sit down and think about what we want to do...especially since it's all out of pocket. I'll find out more info at my follow-up appointment in a couple of weeks.
DH Vent - The doctor's office told me to call them when I scheduled my HSG, so I called them this morning. She set up a follow-up appointment for Tuesday, March 11th at 1pm. He is only at this location on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I called DH this morning to tell him what all I found out. I told him when my follow-up appointment was. Now, he normally works 2pm-close on Tuesdays. I asked him if he could schedule himself to go in at 2:30 or 3pm so he could go to the appointment with me. He tells me probably not and why couldn't I have scheduled it on a day he was off. I told him he is only at the southside location Tuesday/Thursday. He said schedule it for Thursday. I told him by Thursday, I'm supposed to be on day 3 (projected). I just fear he's not going to be as flexible as he needs to be. I understand that his job (restaurant manager) is not quite as flexible as mine. However, if I give you notice that hey, I have an appointment on this day at this time, JI do not think it's unreasonable to tell your assistant manager that does the schedule to schedule to to come in 30-60 minutes late.

Especially if you guys are doing IUIs... you won't have much notice when the IUI is. You'll go to the dr and they could say it's going to be in 2 days! However, hopefully you'd be able to schedule it early, since it looks like he doesn't go in until the afternoon.
I hope you can work something out, and he can be there for support! I know it's nice to have someone else there to help take everything in. It probably would be an important one for him to go to, since you'll probably be discussing treatment options.
