just like that they are over
So long winter Olympics. It was fun while it lasted.
What was your favorite part? Did you watch closing ceremonies?
How was your weekend?
I started to watch the ceremonies but ended up in bed fairly quick. I did catch their joke with the rings though. I appreciated that. Favorite part? Ummm maybe the ice dancing? Or the alpine events.
The weekend was ok. H left yesterday for s business trip in TX. His schedule os booked full with people to see and places to eat. Haha. And it's just me ans the dogs listening for bumps in the night.

my read shelf:
Morning! I am sleepy this morning. I am actually glad the Olympics are over. I look forward to going to bed at normal time. I didn't watch the closing ceremonies because I was watching the race, Daytona 500. It was an exciting race and I am glad I stayed up to wtach it. My favorite part of the Olympics proabbly was the ice dancing because that was one competition. They both were flawless. Or the RUS vs USA hockey game. Every second of that game was exciting and I got to watch it all since it happend on a weekend. I love the sliding events too, bobsled, luge and skelton. Those people are crazy!!!
Aggie: You and the puppies be safe!
Jay and I just weren't into it this time around. It didn't help that the first events shown were ones that I found insanely ridiculous (freestyle snowboarding?). Oh well. Another time.
Our weekend was good. We bought a backsplash! We're installing it next weekend. Jay and I don't work well together on this kind of stuff because we both want to be in charge so we've decided one person works in the kitchen while the other works upstairs in the new bedroom doing things that still need to be finished.
We then added about fourteen more house projects to our list. We're outta control.
Ya joy I definitely was not into them like usual. I did watch a bit of them but only because H turned them on and I was in the room.
