Re: Manic Monday
Lows: My sister and her boyfriend were told if they came they had to sleep on the couch bed. She agreed and said she didn't care. Except she did and tried to be the bedtime enforcer when my mom and I wanted to stay up and play cards.
Highs - EVERYTHING. We had a great weekend with the kids. The weather was amazing, 70! And I was feeling better.
Lows - leaving and Lilly telling us she wants to live with us. Then she asked me questions about IF she lived with us... and now looking back, I think it's the answer her mom. It was like "who will watch me when you're at work" etc. Ex told Jeff that Lilly won't stop talking about living in MD with us.
Highs - going to Buttonwood and taking measurements for new porch carpet and our deck...so ready for summer. Also we finally went to church which makes me happy. Oh and the weather and being able to go for a nice long walk with L and Diesel.
Lows - I think L is getting sick again
weekend high: picking out flooring yesterday and getting to spend the whole day with Ben!!
weekend low: yesterday I was out waaay longer than expected and by the time we got home I was tired and ready to pick a fight....and then I didn't sleep at all last night. so blah.

Low - Hmm...I guess dinner with my parents on Saturday was the only low-ish thing. My mom always gets a dessert when we come over, which I've told her before isn't necessary and she obviously didn't listen. I feel badly not eating it, so I was uncomfortably stuffed by the time we left.
Lows...didn't get to spend alot of time with my sister who was home this weekend.
High - The weather was so nice. The show on Saturday night was amazing and we plan on going again the next time they are in town and taking Chase. We also hung out with friends which is always a good time. We started watching The Walking Dead and are totally obesssed.
Lows- Chase woke up at 6am on Saturday with a fever and nasty chest cough. He hasnt had a fever in about 5 years and it got pretty high so that was scary. But he insisted that he was fine going to my parents and would feel bad if we missed the show so we went. I worried the whole time we were out and wished we would have stayed home with him, but of course he was fine. He slept about 6 hours Sunday evening until I woke him up at 10pm to give him meds because he wa burning up again. I kept him home yesterday even though the fever finally broke in the middle of the night.
We got into the city later than expected Saturday and didnt get to eat at the Asian place we wanted to so DH was pissy. We still had a great dinner next door in the bar/resturant DH first asked me out at. We also got home way too late Saturday night/Sunday morning so DH was useless all day on top of him being super congested too.
