Farmhouse Living Room Lighting
Recently bought a house that is newer and not a true old farm house, however, it built to look like a farmhouse. Unfortunately, this means that the ceilings are the standard 8 foot high and the living room is in desperate need of more lighting. Currently, there are only a couple of "booby lights" that are not only ugly but fail to provide enough light for the space. I need a light fixture for the middle of the living room ceiling. It needs to fit the farmhouse feel, but also needs to be close to the ceiling (in other words no long chandeliers) due to the short ceilings. So if you have any recommendations as far as styles or specific fixtures I'd appreciate it.

I was thinking maybe something like this. I love the color and style, but don't know if it really "fits" in a living room.
