in May 2011 Weddings
Well were on the road to recovery in this household! Dh is back to work and no one got sick last night!! I still have no daycare kids coming just in case there is still something lingering. So for now it's 715 the boys are sleeping, dh is at the gym and I'm going to make me some coffee to start my day!

    Aggie&Degrea - Thanks for your recommendations! I definitely plan to check out all the monuments, even if I go by myself. haha! 
    We're not allowed to drink on the trip, so that rules out any cool bars or breweries.
    Our trip adviser wants to take us out for Ethiopian food one night, and I'm nervous about it. Anyone had it before?

    No drinking? That's sad! I really want a beer lately. Dh doesn't drink any because the gluten hurts his belly bad. Next time in out somewhere I am so getting one. Sad part is I can't drink a whole one yet!

    Ethiopan food would scrae me as well. Aren't you some what of a picky eater JLQ? I could be confusing you with someone else. There is a good BBQ place in DC, the name escapes me though. No drinking! That is lame!! But maybe there is under age people with you so I can understand that. Either way sounds like fun!

    Echo - My sister can't drink beer either because of the gluten in it, but I think she told me that they're starting to make gluten free beers now? That sounds weird. haha!

    Degrea - Ya, I'm assuming there's no drinking on the trip because not everyone is 21 or over. And you're correct, I'm a very picky eater! So I'm worried about when we go out for group dinners and making meals at the house that it won't be anything I like. I plan to buy my own snacks&stuff to keep at the house to have just in case! 
    The food places I found online to suggest were like American food, but not stuff you can get around here. There was one that's an all you can eat seafood buffet which would have a lot of stuff for everyone, so I'm hoping we go to places like that! hahahh!!

    Echo: I thought some beers were brewed with rice which is gluten free. I knew that beer was generally a no no for gluten free people. I put beer in my pulled pork and secretly laugh when H Aunt eats it because she supposely has a gluten aleregy. Yea I am evil!

    You are evil degrea. There are gluten free beers. And some beers have lower levels of gluten and dh will drink them but we never keep any in the house.
