Just wondering. I was bored.

Are there any projects any of you ladies were planning on starting when your winter is over??
We were finally going to get on doing our yard. Our backyard is a joke. Totally blank canvas and I want to start a little herb garden, put up pretty flowers and bushes. Hopefully can get our patio looking inviting and cute. I am a little clueless when it comes to gardening, and keeping plants live, but I want to start. lol Hopefully FX we can get started on this at the end of the month... xo Happy Hump Day girls!!!
Re: Any Spring projects??
Good luck with keeping things "green." I'm no green thumb at all, but just experiment with different plants and designs. One of the best things I did was ask many many questions at a local landscape place, and brought pictures of what I was trying to fill in. Also, herbs aren't too easy to kill. So you should be good.
Here's my list so far:
1. Rip out the ceiling in our spare bedroom/nursery.
2. Finish landscaping around new patio.
3. Do some landscaping where our old bushes were.
4. Re-lay brick around side of garage.
5. Make a raised garden and plant vegetables. (I used to plant them in pots)
6. Tear down old firepit and build a new one in different spot.
We spend our entire summer outdoors, and I usually try to have lots of little projects to do.

1) finish basement
2) plant spruces at the front of the property
3) Plant grass seed (this is my #1 bc we have so many ants in the yard which bring bees)
4) Relocate some plants and replace the ones that have died from the winter.
5) Finish siding the house
6) Finish the dining room reno
7) Repair driveway
These are really all things DH needs to do and I just help a little here and there.
Our biggest issue are the bees, or really my biggest issue. We have SOOO many bees and I have a severe fear of bees so it makes it very difficult for me to even enjoy our backyard because of them.

Edited because I suck at HTML.
I also want to finish painting... We still have to finish our master suite and the kitchen (these rooms all had wallpaper and seem to be taking forever).

I REALLY want to re-paint our dining room, but can't get H on board.
Why must he actually want a say in the design aspect of our house? Aren't men supposed to say "whatever you want honey?"

We WERE planning to redo our pool deck and backyard, but when life gave us a curveball, all our fall/winter projects were put on hold so we've had to push back and will finish those.. This list will probably take us well into summer, btw!!
1. Finally build the cabinet doors/drawer fronts for the kitchen. Install the backsplash. Ideally, i'd like to re-tile, but that's probably a project for another year
2. Put in the can lights in the kitchen and finish replacing various light fixtures throughout the house
3. Build the living room built-in bookshelf
4. Unpack and finish purging our belongings. Downsizing is hard, y'all! This one right here could probably take me all spring. It's ridiculous how much crap we've held onto. And it's hard to put stuff away when the cabinets and shelves aren't even built yet! Our garage is a danger zone right now.
5. build master bath countertop (it'll be stained wood) and hopefully get a new backsplash installed.
6. prime and paint the hall bath cabinets, paint the walls, build countertop, install tankless water heater/redo closet.
7. and if we still have money and/or time, we need to replace at least a few of the windows. They all need it, but we'll probably do them in sections.
I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but at this point.. I don't care lol..
In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!
T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
@luckyangel07 Would that room fit an L shaped desk in it?
We re-purposed H's office into a dual office this fall, and each have a workstation at the same desk due to its design. As long as you aren't at it at the same time, it works.
