Any updates on your TTC process? nope
Are you being monitored or taking any meds? Nope
Are you doing anything new to battle the PCOS b*tch? nope
How are you doing with diet and exercise? vegan/gluten free 90% of the time. Slowly starting the exercise wagon up again.
Any new fact you've learned about PCOS? nope
Are you open about having PCOS or is it something you keep private? It's not something I shout from the rooftops, but if someone asks or it's relevant to the convo (them saying they have it) then I'll talk about it. It's not that I'm keeping it a secret, it's just not something I bring up in normal, everyday convo
QOTW: If you could have a vacation home, where would it be? LBI in NJ is my most favorite place ever. Technically my fam already has a house there, but it's a long story.. I have a master plan to eventually buy it out from under the aunt who technically "owns" it now, somehow without them knowing it's me. They could still use it any time they wanted, but I want control so the drama stops.
In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!
T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
Any updates on your TTC process? My body has been giving me crazy EWCM, but that's normal for me.
Are you being monitored or taking any meds? Nope
Are you doing anything new to battle the PCOS b*tch? Read below.
How are you doing with diet and exercise? Working with a dietitian who wants me to cut out dairy, go 100% gluten free, and eat a 1,770 calorie PCOS friendly diet.
I'm eating everything non-that while I can, before going full throttle into it.
Still training for the half marathon in April, and doing weight lifting/bootcamp class 3 days a week.
Any new fact you've learned about PCOS? That my 1,200 calorie diet could have had some affect on this. Love that I lost the weight. Hate what came with it.
Are you open about having PCOS or is it something you keep private? I'm pretty open about it and IF in general. That was a whole other story before our loss though. I didn't want to tell anyone we were struggling or that I had a medical issue.
QOTW: If you could have a vacation home, where would it be? Lake of the Ozarks. We've discussed buying one with my parents after our current house is paid off.

Any updates on your TTC process? Nope. Still taking a break.
Are you being monitored or taking any meds? I'm on Metformin, but I stopped taking it about a week ago. I hate taking meds, and they are huge horse pills. I just don't want to be on it anymore. I have an appt with a dietician and my yearly with my GYN next week, so I'm going to have one of them do a blood panel to see if my diet has changed my insulin level at all.
Are you doing anything new to battle the PCOS b*tch? Just exercising and eating healthy. I allow myself two cheat meals a week, which I've been taking on Friday and Saturday nights. Those are my life savers!
How are you doing with diet and exercise? Pretty good. Still doing T25 and sticking with a good diet. I've significantly cut back my sugar intake and also limiting carbs.
Any new fact you've learned about PCOS? Nope. I need to get back to reading my PCOS book.
Are you open about having PCOS or is it something you keep private? I don't start off new conversation with it, but I'm pretty open about it if the subject is brought up. Most people have never heard of it, so I always have to explain.
QOTW: If you could have a vacation home, where would it be? Probably Grand Cayman. We love it there and have talked about one day getting a vacation home there.
Any updates on your TTC process? Not much. I am using OPKs for the first time this cycle and trying my best to temp. I'm going to start using Fertility Friend tonight.
Are you being monitored or taking any meds? Currently on 1500mg of Metformin
Are you doing anything new to battle the PCOS b*tch? I'm trying a new hair removal creme for my face soon. Thankfully my hair is blond so you can't see it too well when I get lazy about shaving it but every time I do shave it, I get at least one or two infected hairs.
How are you doing with diet and exercise? Petty good so far this week. Trying hard to get at least 3 workouts a week in. Diet has been good, as well. I'm tracking my food and workouts on My Fitness Pal. I'm also trying to do a couple meatless meals every week. It helps me eat more veggies. Thankfully, DH hasn't missed the meat at all so far and actually loved both meatless meals we've had this week!
Any new fact you've learned about PCOS? Nope
Are you open about having PCOS or is it something you keep private? I'm pretty open about it. Both my family and DH's family know I have it. I also have a PCOS and IF board on Pinterest that shows on my FB page so all my friends know I have it as well. I wouldn't bring it up in conversation though unless we were specifically talking about getting pregnant or IF or something related.
QOTW: If you could have a vacation home, where would it be? Technically this isn't a vacation home and I don't know if this is even possible, but I would love to buy a deluxe suite with a cruise line that would allow us to take so many cruises per year on whichever boat we chose. DH and I love cruises.
Currently on Metformin and Synthroid
EDD: 6.15.15
Any updates on your TTC process? N/A we're TTA.
Are you being monitored or taking any meds? Nope.
Are you doing anything new to battle the PCOS b*tch? Nope.
How are you doing with diet and exercise? Eh, I've been trying to eat a little better, and get out and walk more, but it's hard with the rainy weather.
Any new fact you've learned about PCOS? Nope.
Are you open about having PCOS or is it something you keep private? I'm pretty open. If the topic comes up, I am not afraid to tell people about it. Same goes for my endo.
QOTW: If you could have a vacation home, where would it be? Hmmm....New Zealand or Italy I think. In the US, probably Wyoming/Colorado area.
