GTKY: Fashion

Stripes, plaid or Polka dot patterns on clothing? And why?

Re: GTKY: Fashion

  • I have some of all of the above, although not a lot. I don't do too many patterns, I keep my clothing pretty simple.

  • I also have some of all but I prefer polka dots. Stripes look horrible on me and plaid only looks good on bottoms.
  • I do have several tops with stripes... regular and chevron. I have one or two with polka dots but it is really subtle. I don't think I have any plaid. I haven't worn plaid since I was a kid in catholic schools... 8 years was enough for me. At least my high school just had solid skirts.

  • I have some stripes but otherwise my clothing is pretty simple and plain

  • Pretty solid colors here

  • Lately I've been wearing a lot of stripes. 3 years ago my entire wardrobe was plaid, so I still have remnants of plaid, but I've found that plaid makes me look like a lesbian, so I've been sticking with stripes.

  • I like solids and textures (lace, etc)

But maternity clothes seem to make all the cute stuff in stripes, so wearing a LOT of stripes lately.
