What is everyone up to this weekend?
Re: TGIF! Weekend Plans?
Jake - 1.15.08
Liam - 5.17.11
Tonight: nothing. The kids were both up at an ungodly hour (Liam at 4:35, Jake at 5:40) so it will be an early bedtime for everyone, hopefully.
Sat: Brian and Jake are going skiing during the day, then in the evening we have a neighborhood party to go to. It's adults-only though and we couldn't find a sitter, so I'm going stag with some other ladies in the neighborhood while Brian stays home with the kids.
Sun: church in the morning (we finally found a church-thank you for those who chimed in on my church post a few weeks ago!), no plans in the afternoon
Jake - 1.15.08
Liam - 5.17.11
Tonight: I am taking Garrett to a tumbling class. Afterwards it's take out and DVR (is it sad how excited I am about a full DVR?!?)
Saturday: Our cabinets are in the middle of being painted, and now that the primer is on, I am second guessing the color that I had planned to paint the kitchen. So we have some Lowes/Home Depot trips on the agenda...maybe Bed Bath & Beyond if we have time.
Sunday: I have an early morning run with some friends and then we are taking the boys to see the Lego movie.
LOL! I just saw yours! Great minds think alike!
TGIF ladies!!
Tonight- not much maybe work on cleaning out office closet to make way for baby room. Madi's room and playroom have already been purged.
tomorrow- Gymnastics at noon then Madi is going to Grammie's for the night. One of her most favorite things to do. We have the neighbors yearly caribbean party. Everyone is required to wear summer attire. Good thing I do actually have some maternity summer wear from the Madi days. Ha. Now to figure out a dip or something to make.
Sunday- not much. laundry.... wait and see what this storm they are calling for will do. Boo hoo.
Tomorrow: Children's Museum in the morning, grocery in the afternoon, low key evening at home.
Sunday: BFF leaves after breakfast, kids have swim lessons and I teach most of the afternoon
We also need to sit down and plan out the summer camp plans for the kids.
Tonight- just hanging out at home, laundry
Saturday - Fiddlesticks concert in the morning, cleaning, not sure what else.
Sunday - no plans, possbily taking the kids to see the Lego Movie depending on the weather.
As I mentioned in the Randoms post, I've been baking a bunch for weekend events. Tonight I'm going to finish cookies and the superhero capes I'm making for Michael's birthday.
Tomorrow my little guy turns 3! We're not celebrating until Sunday thought. I have a baby shower for my cousin's girlfriend in the afternoon, and then Steve's taking the kids to a huge birthday party for one of Jackson's classmates. 50 kids at last count. It should be crazy. The cookies are for that party and the shower.
Sunday we have another friend's birthday party in the morning, and then my parents are coming over for a small celebration for Michael's birthday in the evening. By then the kids should be so full of sugar I'll never get them to bed :-)
I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend but hopefully I find some motivation to get some stuff done around the house.
Friday, nothing. Probably going to bed early since I was up at 5:00 to take DH to the airport.
Saturday, church and soup supper. Probably watch hockey when I get home.
Sunday afternoon spaghetti dinner at the Fireside Inn in Crafton. This is to benefit the three young girls that lost both parents in the recent horrific murder suicide. Then volunteering at the Oscar party at Heinz Field.
Tonight: homemade pizza and maybe some tv
Tomorrow: soccer lessons for dd. Maybe going to build a bear. Dd still has a GC from Christmas. Rent a movie and popcorn in the evening
Sunday: I'm doing a photo shoot for a friend's baby. Her older sibling is dd's good friend so they will play while I take pics. Play date for her and work for me.
Also hope that my dh actually makes it home on Sunday. His flight this morning was cancelled (had to take a later one )and with the huge storm coming this weekend I'm not sure he will make it back!
