Re: Weekend Plans

  • We are going to MIL's for dinner tonight. Not sure what we are having.

Saturday-DH has a safety class in the morning. Ava Nichol and I are going to a birthday party for a little boy from the play date group. Then we are all headed out to my parents. My little brother (who is 18) is bringing his new friend/potential girlfriend over :) I need to work on stuff for Ava Nichol's birthday party.

Sunday-More working on birthday stuff. Ava Nichol might stay with my mom since she is back to work and back to her normal schedule of having Mondays off. I have homework to do.

  • XP from GP

    Tonight
A friend is coming over to drop off a bunch of (maternity) clothing for me and to take the bed frame back that we took from her a year ago (because she never could find the hardware to it, and now we don't need it anymore).

    Tomorrow
Hopefully jamming out the last of my freelance assignment (all the things I did already that needed to be reviewed and then came back to me for a final looksee). If I don't finish it all tomorrow, it'll get wrapped up Sunday.
I NEED to throw in a few loads of laundry while I'm doing freelance.

    Sunday
If I get all my freelance done, I think I'm going to see if my dad can help me take care of replacing my car battery and cabin/air filters. I got my inspection done yesterday, and my battery is on its last legs and filters are filthy. Time for a tune up!

  • Tonight:  I'm going to talk DH into using our registry completion at Target and picking up a couple lamps for the nursery as well.  I also need to get some travel-sized toiletries for my hospital bag.  Hopefully we'll get some dinner out, too.  :)

Tomorrow:  35/35 :D   DH will be working on the bookshelves for the nursery.  I'll wash the last of the bibs and all of LO's socks and hats.  Then we're heading to my parents' house to spend the afternoon and evening with them.  We'll also be picking up the rocker for the nursery from them.  The rocker was built by my great-grandfather and used in my dad's nursery as well as mine.  I'm so very excited to get it!  My mom had it refinished in Cherry to match the nursery.  It looks awesome!!

    Sunday:
Church and then staying in because we're supposed to get hit with snow starting in the afternoon.  I'll hopefully get my hospital bag packed, too.

  • Tonight: DH is working late so I will be going out to eat and grocery shopping with Lexi tonight.

Tomorrow: I would really like to do my monthly house cleaning and some laundry. I also need to take DH's car and get it inspected. Maybe go out by myself Saturday afternoon/night to do some shopping.

Sunday: Hopefully nothing. We are supposed to get hit with a snowstorm also, so I just want to relax as much as I can.

  • Tonight: With any luck, we'll get the executed offer from the sellers of the house we made an offer on!  We got a verbal acceptance, but they said they won't be able to get us the paperwork til later tonight. The bank has already started processing the mortgage, so that's the only missing piece.

Tomorrow: Hopefully finding something to keep myself busy all day while I anxiously await dessert. Dinner is at 6:15.

Sunday: No idea. Probably shopping for at least one gender-specific outfit/item because I won't be able to help myself! And adding a few more things to the registry.

I just want to add that I feel like the stars are really starting to align for us.  Today has been a great day so far! Andplusalso, someone brought in doughnuts! :-)

  • Tonight: Getting a baby shower gift for a friend (she's only registered at online stores, hoping to find an equivalent item at Target...) and then either doing date night or just relaxing

Tomorrow: Attending said baby shower, some house cleaning (including major laundry), and if we don't do date night tonight, we'll do that.

Sunday: Church, grocery shopping, and getting ready for the week. Why can't weekends be longer? :-<

  • Tonight:  I am making a lasagna to take over to my friend's tomorrow.

Tomorrow: K has her first swim class!!! I cannot wait for this and think she is going to have a ball - however, I am not looking forward to getting into a swimsuit.  After that we are going over to my parents for a little bit and then to my friend's to see her and her new baby!!!  I cannot wait for some newborn snuggles - although I told DH not to worry as I am not anywhere near ready to even discuss #2.

Sunday - We are supposed to get sleet/snow/freezing rain all day so it will probably be a lazy day.  I'm sure I'll do some things around the house and then I'm making lasagna for us.  DH was jealous that I'm making it for my friend so he wanted one too.
