  I have no interest in hiring a cleaning person however I would love to never have to do it!  

  
  

  It's been so cold and snowy that we feel stuck in the house.  We are going to a show with some friends tomorrow.  We officially canceled our cable TV today (saving $80/month).

  Not a whole lot planned planned down here. We have to be completely moved out of our apartment by Monday, but there's only some light cleaning left to do so I'll probably head over there and finish it up tonight. I've been putting it off but I might as well get it over with. 

  
  

  Aside from that our cat has another appointment with the vet tomorrow, but that's about all that we have planned. Probably spend time unpacking some more boxes from the move and if we're feeling ambitious get started on painting some rooms. I'm thinking it might be more of a lazy weekend though. 

  
  

  One thing I know for sure--I'm being bad tonight and ordering Take-Out on my way home!

  Hanging out with a friend tonight (at home, yay saving $!), tomorrow not sure, and Sunday an open house. I never feel like doing anything when it's so cold!

  We're very lucky that my parents bought us tickets to a fancy wine dinner for Christmas; we're doing that tomorrow night and staying at a hotel afterward.  We didn't go on a honeymoon, so I'm excited for a night away from the house!

  Does anyone else feel super lame when asked this question? My coworkers always ask on Friday what I'm up to during the weekend and I always come up blank...These last several months of saving and cold winter weather has basically turned me into a hermit.

  Sometimes, but with Spring and Summer coming I know we will have something going on every weekend, so I am enjoying this quiet time

  Definitely not intended to make you feel lame. We rarely do anything big but hearing other people's plans sometimes gives me ideas.
  
  With all the cold and snow, we've been trying to take the kids to the library frequently (free!). Also one of our local movie theaters is offering free children's movies on Saturday and Sunday mornings for the next several weeks. We're excited to try that out.

  Ugh snow is just not my thing.  We're in the 50's/60's down here in Birmingham, though I think next week it's going to cool off a bit.  I've been walking laps around the apartment since the weather is nice.  I just got a fitbit, and the ridiculously low number of steps I take each day is kind of appalling.

  
  

  I did earn 1,000 steps today by cleaning though.  I walked back and forth between my bedroom and closet to put one thing away at a time.  Inefficient, but more walking!

  Totally wasn't meaning you for asking that question! I know this board has lots of us in the same boots. I just meant more along the lines of coworkers and friends who are seemingly always doing $$ things!

   I'm quickly becoming obsessed with hitting my 10,000 steps, and so far I haven't quite gotten there.  I love that it's working to get me off my butt.  But I hate how frustrating it is when I don't hit that goal!  Having that little tamagotchi-esque smiley face thing makes my obsession worse.  It's like a throw-back to my preteen years.

  I have the zip.  I thought anything else would be too complicated for me.  It literally looks like a tiny tamagotchi and there's this character that smiles and cheers for you when you hit your goals.  Total throwback, and it's kind of amazing.

  We officially got the birthday invites out for DD's 3rd bday party in exactly 2 weeks from now!  We are doing a mickey mouse clubhouse theme.  We also bought quite a bit of stuff at party city too. I ran a couple errands and glad to be home.  IT's Freezing right now and the flurries have already started.  we are supposed to get 5-9 inches of snow thru tomorrow.  ICK!

  My son and I went to the Cleveland Auto Show, he didn't want to look at the big cars but someone was selling model cars and he loved that.
