Re: Amcourt & PhilaPhan
I stopped for a variety of reasons. The biggest being that I was starting to get really uncomfortable with the idea that I was sharing Teddy's every day life with a bunch of strangers. I was getting seriously 100s of hits a day and I hardly knew any of those people. I feel like T isn't a baby anymore and he is becoming more of a little person with a little personality and I didn't feel comfortable sharing everything about him with strangers. I was getting hits from all over the world and it just sort of freaked me out.
This is sort of stupid, but a kid (yes kid!) who lives two houses down from my in-laws was busted in this huge child porn ring a few weeks ago (two days after we moved out actually) and it made me really aware of the fact that I was plastering my kid all over the internet. Granted I was just posting funny pictures of him or pictures of home improvements, I still felt like I was making it really easy for someone to get access to our lives by posting our daily activities online. I don't know. I often forget that everyone out there on the interwebs isn't normal like you chicks. It just sort of made the freaks of the internet more real by having that so close to home.
I had a "friend" on fb that was arrested for child porn charges. His bail was 1 million. I asked a friend who was a judge and he said"That's serious shit" for the bail to be that high. I went to high school with the guy. He drove me to school for a year.
