Kindle monthly deals - some good ones

Seems like the deals for the month of March are better this time around. Link here. I just bought:

Skeleton Canyon, the Joanna Brady series (Anybody read this? They sound intriguing. Hope it's OK to read the fifth one first.)
The Life of Pi
America's Women by Gail Collins.

By the way, anyone know what the P.S. after a title on Amazon means?
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

  • Thanks.  And I'm glad you pointed the P.S. out- I would have missed the Isabel Allende book in there.

This is what I found on it.

The P.S. books usually have extra content at the end: interviews with the author, discussion questions, etc.

  • Life of Pi was a Daily Deal, so it's back to regular price today.

I picked up I Suck At Girls, but that was the only one this month.
I was very excited to see The Tale of Genji until I saw the reviews that pointed out it was an abridgment.

(Is it just me, or are there a lot of books on Christianity in this set? I guess part of it is that they're almost all in the first half of the list, but 13 out of 110 still seems a bit high.)

  • I'm not thrilled with much of the list. I think last month had a better selection. I skipped all of the kindle firsts too- they just looked weird or depressing.

  • I didn't find anything I like this month which is surprising.  I agree with @Gillic, there was a LOT of religious books this month.
