WIAR The Museum of Extraordinary Things (NS)
Has anyone else read this? It is soooo slow. I'm over halfway through and I still don't feel like I've really gotten into the story. That being said, it's not bad. It is just not moving very fast at all and it leaves me wondering how much is going to be crammed into the last half. One of my friends who has yet to steer me wrong on a book recommendation gave it 5 stars on GR, so I guess I'm waiting for it to wow me.
A lot of people are comparing it to The Night Circus, which I don't really see. I thought the writing in TNC made up for the slower pace of the story. Maybe I will see more of the parallels between the two when I finish, but as of right now I don't think it's a great comparison.
