WIJFR: Winger by Andrew Smith (NS)
I either saw this book on here or on a Nestie's blog, I can't remember. But. This book is fantastic. It's about a 14-yr junior at a boarding school for bad kids, who lives in the bad kid dorm (although his antics are more on the funny, mischevious, immature side than actually being bad), and is the winger on his rugby team. I know next to nothing about rugby, but that didn't matter at all.
I actually laughed out loud a couple times, and definitely choked on my drink once. I recommended it to a friend based on its comic appeal when I was about halfway through. I just finished, and holy book hangover. Just... wow. If this book isn't on your to-read list, it should be.
