Had a dream my water broke...

Yeah...last night.  All my dream entailed was me at my 36w appointment tomorrow and my water breaking.

I was going to wait until this weekend to pack my hospital bag, but after that dream, I'm doing it tonight!

Re: Had a dream my water broke...

  • Nothing like a labor dream!

I've already had one, last week. I was in labor, at the hospital, and they were trying to give me the epidural. I say "trying" because they were having trouble getting it in correctly. Thank god I couldn't feel anything in that dream, haha!

  • eeek! haha I think you'll be okay but better safe than sorry, pack that bag!

when do people normally pack hospital bags?

  • @amccul20 - I'm not sure.  I think it's all personal preference.  I wanted to have my bag packed by this past weekend (35w), but didn't get around to it.  Had I not had that dream, I'd be doing it this weekend instead of tonight.  :)

Mine and DH's philosophy has been to prep as if he'll arrive at 38w but don't expect him until 42w.  That way we know we'll have everything finished for an early arrival.
