hi

Hey hey ladies. How is it going?

I went to Ash Wed service last night. I am Methodist and we do the ashes too. It's not as big of a deal as it is in the Catholic church. @degrea what denomination are you? Finding a church is hard.

Re: hi

  • Hi hi.
Ds1 wasn't a pain at church like expected. Neither of them really wanted to sit but we survived. Dh and I have gotten used to not be able to sit/stand through Mass. It's hard to be able to focus and really pray with two kids but they're a blessing so we shall survive.

It's one of my daycare girls birthdays so we made hats and will have cake to celebrate. I ordered her gift online and have always had super fast shipping from the store. of course the day I need it it isn't as fast.
  • Hello!
Finding a Church is very hard, I agree with Aggie.

Echo - I can only imagine how hard it is to really focus on Mass with two kids, because I have a hard time focusing on it myself and I don't have kids. haha
Happy birthday to your daycare girl!! woohoo!!!

  • I get easily distracted by kids in service :-) and I love it.

  • Sometimes we joke that well go separately so we can actually pay attention. But goin as a family is more important.

I agree on finding a church where you feel like you belong is hard. When I was at university I travelled to a lot if different ones and in my last year finally found some where I felt included and that it was for me. We've lucked out with the church close to us being great. Our priest is young and funny (most of his jokes are lost on the older crowd) and he really makes you want to go and learn more. He's captivating while he celebrates mass.
  • Morning Gals! I have more meetings today, actually all day training but I needed a break. I am a Methodist too. Maybe my church does do ashes and I just don't remember.

  • Yes! Tomorrow is the day I leave!! WOHHOOO!!!!! I'm so excited!! But I have so much to pack and do to get ready.
