Preserved in a box in one of our closets (it's one of those boxes with a clear front, so I can see see my dress). When H and I moved in January, I refused to let the movers take my wedding dress. Instead, she was safe and sound in the backseat of my car. H thought I was crazy LOL!

I'm so bad at these things. My dress hasn't even been cleaned yet and is in the bag right behind me, actually. I have a large printer in my office that's never used and it's laying on top of that. I'm horrible!

I'm in the same camp as ystaalenburg. Not cleaned, still in the garment bag, taking up way too much space in my closet.

Mine's currently hanging up in the nursery closet. It hasn't been touched since the wedding. Never got it cleaned either. Oops.

Hanging in a closet at my parents house 700 miles away. Also has not been cleaned. I have no desire to bring it to DC...

Dirty with leaves from outside our reception and also some champagne/beer stains...but it's in its fancy bag from the bridal shop, so I think that counts for something! I do want to have it preserved.

Can I say how glad I am so many of you never cleaned yours? Mine's likewise not clean, more or less folded/crumpled at the top of my closet in a garment bag. I just don't know if I want to spend another $150-$300 or so on the cleaning or preserving for a dress I already know I'm not going to wear again. Sure, maybe a daughter would wear it someday, but dress trends change so much. I think it was pretty classic, but I'm sure they'll be wearing wedding gowns made of megabytes or something by the time my kids are getting married.

I did at least at one point pick (most of) the leaves and grass out of the bottom of it from trampling around outside.

Not cleaned, in the garment bag it came in, in our spare room closet! Need to get it cleaned and preserved at some point :-)

Mine was cleaned, but the cleaner didn;t think it was a wedding dress, so didn't charge a lot...I paid $50 for it to be cleaned. And now it's in the cleaner's bag in my husband's closet. I'm not planning to do anything special, probably just get a nice box or chest for it.

Not cleaned and hanging in the bag it came in up in my closet. We pulled it out once to take newborn pics of DD on it then it got put right back lol

I feel so much better now knowing my dress isnt the only still dirty hanging in a bag wedding dress for oct 2012! I keep saying I need to get this cleaned and preserved but I dont wanna spend the $ either! Oh well ill get to it some day!

Bit nostalgic reading this on the one year five month anniversary. It's currently in a chest/trunk in my childhood bedroom at my parents. I never had the time to get it cleaned.

My mom bought a groupon to get it cleaned and preserved, so it's in a clear-front box in my office closet. Mom brought it the day we moved into our house. I was like, seriously?! I have all these other boxes to move in, and you bring my wedding dress?! lol
