Doctor Sleep and NOS4A2?
Did anyone else notice the similarities between the general plot?
I have a theory that Joe and his dad were sitting around the dinner table and were like, let's both write novels that feature a vampiresque being who feeds off children in order to remain immortal and see how similar or different our books turn out.

I do like your theory though. I picture family holidays after everyone has long since gotten bored and left the table that SK and JH are left discussing plot lines and characters over beers.
