    Oh boy.  I'm doing the re-read and having gotten to TFC yet.  All I really remember is that one day took 150 pages.

    It's the first one set in America. There's a lot of Roger/Brianna action that I wasn't really invested in.

    Nope, Drums of Autumn is the first one set in America.

    I think there is a lot of development of their little settlement and new character introduction in this one - Jemmy getting older, Lizzie cavorting with those twins, Roger gets hanged.... you know ;)

    Also, I'm pretty sure towards the end, the Revolutionary War storyline starts developing.
