I finally watched The Hunger Games (spoilers)
I am only a wee bit behind right? So, I finally sat down last night with Netflix and watched The Hunger Games. I wasn't thrilled with it.
What I liked:
- Cinna (Lenny Kravitz just keeps getting better and better with age).
- Effie (Perfection)
- Ceasar (Awesome)
- I LOVED the scene with all the tributes bolting off the platforms at the beginning of the games. That was cool.
- Rue (I wanted to smoosh her, she was too cute)
- the Dog things at the end. Those were cool
- I also loved how the control station at the capital worked. It was like NASA.
What I didn't like
- Gale was useless in the movie. He just stood there for the most part. We didn't see what a big part he plays in Katniss' life.
- Peeta. JH didn't sell me.
- Cato. Too universal soldier/robocop-ish for what I was expecting
- I just got the feeling the story didn't play out well in the movie which disappointed me. It felt a bit rushed, yet long at the same time.
Over all I give it an Eh.

Maybe that should be my confession.
