$35 Sushi
$40 Gas
$16 2 carwashes
$5 Kohls

Any Progress Towards Goals?
We found out we will be getting $441 or so back from the state tax return, so once that gets deposited into our checking, it will go right to our house fund. Also, since H has dropped out of school, we are hoping to get some $ back from books, so that will go back into our savings account.
What TV shows are you watching now?
Ok, don't judge here:
The Blacklist
The Kardashians
Long Island Medium
Teen Mom
The Little Couple
Nakid and Afraid- starting soon!
Couples Therapy- Bummed that it just ended
I watch a lot of trash TV- it's a weakness
How MM was your weekend? Not horrible, but not the best. Spent $150 on groceries, $16 eating out, and $80 on clothing.
I had a bit of a panic attack after buying new clothes for the spring. I had a decent coupon, a gift certificate, and birthday money to buy some new clothes. Then still spent $80 of our own money. We budget in for clothing each month, so it's in the budget. But I'm having an issue that I spent almost $200 on clothing. That's $200 that could go toward my student loan. So all of the tags are still on them, and they're still in the bag. I can't decide whether or not I should just return them.
Any Progress Towards Goals?
H worked Saturday again for overtime, and I received my February commission check. Together, it's enough to pay off the other half of my 1 student loan.
If my commissions/bonuses and H's overtime keeps up, we'll have our loans paid off 8 months sooner than planned. :-)
What TV shows are you watching now? How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Mike and Molly, Criminal Minds.

How MM was your weekend?
It was good. We didn't really spend any money other than sugary beverages to keep us awake yesterday (super sleepy due to daylight savings). I also bought a new shirt for work but it was on sale and budgeted for.
Any Progress Towards Goals?
Yes, we put another $2000 towards my SLs and set up an automatic payment for the original minimum payment amount. We're hoping we can get this SL down to 20,000 or less before the other one enters repayment. We also put about 2000 into our savings.
I also made an appointment to sign our wills later this week.
What TV shows are you watching now?
H and I are watching way too many shows right now. The big ones are Castle, The Blacklist, 2 Broke Girls, Modern Family, The Bachelor (mostly me), Elementary, Greys Anatomy, Vikings. We keep saying we're going to cut back but it never happens.
Groceries - $80
Randoms @ Target - $56
Eating out - $15
Any Progress Towards Goals?
Our federal return went in our savings account. Our state return will go to pay off a credit card. I can't wait!
What TV shows are you watching now?
CSI/NCIS
How I Met Your Mother
I can't wait for Hells Kitchen and Big Brother :-)
How MM was your weekend? My husband spent about $75 going out for my birthday. We spent $105 on groceries yesterday and our budget is $100. Plus car repairs on Saturday of $700. That $700 was not expected, but luckily he worked an evening & Saturday shift that were double time and he made the amount of the repairs after tax,
Any Progress Towards Goals? None. We weren't able to save any money with our last paychecks. My husband had to pay for his car repairs that were needed and this paycheck for me went all to bills.
What TV shows are you watching now? I have a lot of shows I am watching... We pretty much try to stay home and that's why I have been watching a lot more lately. I am watching:
How MM was your weekend?
It wasn't the MOST MM weekend I've ever had, but I am fairly proud of myself for making it the most MM it could be. I had a reenactment about 3 hours away. Instead of going down by myself, I carpooled with 2 others and split a hotel with 4 others. So gas and the hotel was a fraction of what it would have been. Meals were all accounted for out of my envelopes and I"m pretty proud of myself for actually budgeting the whole weekend and not throwing extras in(snacks at pit stops, etc.)
Any Progress Towards Goals?
None this weekend, but I did peek at my 2014 Q1 totals so far on Friday and I can't wait to see and share my progress then.
What TV shows are you watching now?
House of Cards though I'm almost done with it so will be looking for a new one...thinking about Dexter.
1. Not too bad. We spent $5 on Shamrock Shakes. They didn't taste the same as I remember. So that was kind of a waste. We found out two friends had gotten engaged yesterday so we went to the bar to celebrate with them. Being there with them during this happy time was well worth the $29 we spent.
2. Just waiting on the home appraisal to come back. So we are in a holding pattern right now. REA is driving me nuts because we didn't pick one of "her" lenders for our mortgage.
3. Too much crap on TV, but I am guilty of The Following, The Blacklist, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, & The Goldbergs.
They are dragging out HIMYM. It should of ended a few seasons ago, but I am curious as to what's going to happen, so I still watch.
Edit: I forgot about SVU, I can watch rerun after rerun of that show. But I miss Stabler and Munch.
How MM was your weekend? Very good, stayed within budget. Spent most of the weekend at home cleaning so easy not to spend money
Any Progress Towards Goals? Husband asked, so did we stay in budget with grocery shopping? Which means that he finally is starting to understand we have a budget that we need to stick to and it's not easy with food
What TV shows are you watching now? The following, blacklist, king of nerds, little couple

How MM was your weekend?
Pretty bad actually. I spent $35 on gas, $10 at Target, $12 getting my eyebrows waxed, $25 to take my parents out to lunch, and $60 on a hair trail for the wedding. A little more than I usually spend, but oh well.
Any Progress Towards Goals?
YES! I paid off a credit card $155, and paid $50 on another card. It's not a lot, but it's something.
What TV shows are you watching now?
I love Law & Order SVU and anything on Investigation Discovery. I'm also guilty of watching HGTV too much and TLC... I also really enjoy the train wreck that is Teen Mom 2.
How MM was your weekend?
Not too bad. We bought a suit for DH since we have an upcoming function that he will actually have to dress up for much to his dismay. He doesn't seem to get why he needs a suit when he already owns a tux. The poor guy hates to dress up. The good news is that I found a $600 set on clearance for $200 and then we got an additional discount on top of that so we only paid about $120 for the pants and jacket. That was the only thing we spent money on, and we had already planned for it.
Any Progress Towards Goals?
A little bit. I was able to put away $180 towards my Roth. With all our expenses lately it's the first little bit I've been able to contribute in a couple of months.
What TV shows are you watching now?
I'm not a big TV watcher but I do love Law and Order:SVU, Scandal, The Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead, and (don't judge!) The Vampire Diaries. I usually have The Voice or something on Food Network playing in the background while I clean or do things around the house. I can't wait until Newsroom and Game of Thrones come back on HBO!
How MM was your weekend? Not bad- Groceries $115, Home Depot $20, Gas $50, DD#1 clothes $43. DD#2 turns 2 at the beginning of May so we're starting to think about what we're going to do for her birthday.
Any Progress Towards Goals? Not much new- hope to get the wills all set next week (lawyer was on vacation). Have an appt to sign some stuff for our life insurance polices on Friday
What TV shows are you watching now? HIMYM, The Bachelor (although I told myself I wasn't going to watch it!), The Voice, and we just finished Breaking Bad on Netflix.. catching up on Portlandia now and probably will move onto House of Cards.
Welcome!
2) MW transferred 1200 to our housing/ emergency fund from her account. She was able to cash flow $200 in car repairs last week also out of her checking account.
3) We watch HIMYM, 2 Broke Girls, The Middle, Mike and Molly, The Big Bang Theory.
How MM was your weekend?
Bought kitchen stuff from Target and Bed Bath and Beyond for the new apartment...spent over $250, but i got quality stuff.
Any Progress Towards Goals?
Almost at $1k in savings, which may go down due to move.
What TV shows are you watching now?
New Girl
I hope you don't mind if I just jump in.
How MM was your weekend? Not as good as it could be. I am visiting family for the week so I'm spending like I'm on vacation. I have been getting a few items that I can't buy back home. Lots of eating out and hanging out.
Any Progress Towards Goals? H and I paid off one of our credit cards. We've just started on the debt snowball method and had money to cover one of the smaller balances. I also sold $200+ on Ebay and will be using that money to pay another bill when it clears.
What TV shows are you watching now?
It seems like I am watching everything right now. I like Supernatural, Criminal Minds, HIMYM, and a few others. I had begun to watch Blacklist but I am pulling away from that. I also watch Psych but this is the final season.
2. Got our refund. Put some of it into savings. The rest will pay for our house and car insurance.
3. I love mindless TV and am ashamed to list it here, but here it is:
The kardashians
Teen Mom
Guliana and Bill
The little couple
2. Yes. I'm a little embarrassed to type this, but we received a major unexpected windfall in the form of a family gift. It will allow us to completely pay off my 9% SL and put enough in our DP fund to make our dream of buying a house in 2014 with a conventional mortgage an actual possibility. We know how beyond lucky we are, and are so grateful, but will not let it make us slack on our goals.
3. Dr. Who is our #1! We also love HIMYM (PM me if you want to chat conspiracy theories about the ending), Mad Men, all of Anthony Bourdain's shows, Bones, and we're getting into Orphan Black. H makes it tough to keep up on my old guilty pleasures like Dance Moms, Real Housewives, and The Bachelor.
How MM was your weekend?
Was alright. Spent $20 eating out with my mom for breakfast, and $15 on snacks at Bass Pro Shops. I also spent $10 more on groceries.
Any Progress Towards Goals?
We just put in a little extra money into our DP fund, transferred money into our vacation fund, and put the deposit down on our rental.
What TV shows are you watching now?
Big geek family, so we pretty much just watch Doctor Who, Arrow, Sherlock, The Walking Dead. I will watch HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, and Cooking Channel. If I'm not watching any of that, I end up watching Disney Jr with DD.
