Photo Albums

Help me decide!  I still put hard copies of pictures in photo albums of trips we take and important things.  I can't decide between these two photo albums.  What is your preference??  The black one is a leatherette cover, but it's spiral/coil bound.  The red one is a fabric cover, but it's pages are bound to the spine.  Both albums have a memo where I can write descriptions and such.  I'm torn on which one to get!  I like the fact that the black one is coil bound, but to me, it almost looks more old-fashion with the gold.  The red one looks more Hip, but I wonder the pages bound to the spine kinda made me think if they're durable or not.  Thought??

Re: Photo Albums

  • They still make that black album?! My H has a couple of those from when he was a kid full of photos. They last because the spiral spine is covered. If it was exposed there is more chance of it breaking.

I prefer the red. That's how all my albums I have ever bought are.
  • LOL, yes @erollis, they still make that album.  See, what I mean, by I feel that album looks more old-fashioned??  It looks like it's something we would have 20-25 years ago.  They do have other colors besides black, but again, I feel they look more "old-fashioned".
I do like the red album.  They also have more colors with the fabric one as well, so I could start making all my photo album's "Match".  My only concern with the fabric cover, I guess, would be the durability with the spine-bound pages.
