The Boba is a wrap right? If so, yes, def get a structured one. We have an Ergo that DS still fits into at almost 30lbs and 35" and 2yrs of age. I love it for adventures that aren't stroller friendly.

For a more structured one we have the Ergo Performance and love it. I was still using it for Delilah when I got pregnant with zack, so it has a long life span. Plus it doesn't hurt my back. I've also heard great things about the Beco Gemini if you want a carrier that they can face outward in as well (Ergo only allows them to face your body).
