So my mom and I are going to the one they are holding this weekend in Monroeville. For some reason I think it is the first time being held East. I am trying to remember if you ladies gave this one (meaning the one held at RMU) the thumbs up or down? I have some odds and ends I need for baby 2 and thought we would check there first. Thanks!

I've attended the JBF sale at RMU and was very happy with it. I may check it out on the 1/2 price day if I can get over there - but I'll definitely be attending the one at RMU in April.

Hmm, this is really close to my house. Do they have things other than clothes? Like outdoor toys/wagons?

Yes - they do have outdoor toys (it seems like these tend to go quickly, though). They have a little bit of everything there!

This is the first time they're doing it in the East. I LOVE the one on Neville island. I always go in thinking I'm not going to spend too much. HA! See if you (or a friend) qualify for any of the early shopping options. My sister is a teacher, so she and I get in on Thursday earlier than the general public.

I'm not sure if you got a chance to go or not, but my mom and I checked it out on Saturday. We were very disappointed. The prices were astronomical (not the sale's problem) and the selection was pretty meager. I bought one pair of jeans for G and some Melissa & Doug toys for a birthday party. I was shocked at the difference. I suppose it's b/c it's a new sale and a they may not have had as many consignors as the Neville Island sale.

Well I am very glad you posted this.... we went friday about 4pm. There was no one there--which was a perk-- but also not much merchandise. I know they had people dropping off more that night. I sure hope they got more before what I would think would be busy on saturday. I knew I should have sent you a FB message to say maybe don't waste the gas.

The only thing I bought was a few avon things for Madi. Oh and she wanted this little my little pony set. Well the bag only had 2 ponies (not true MLP) label said 3 and they were $8. Oh well.

The RMU/Neville Island sale is totally different and about 5x-6x the size!

There was very little boy's 3T and what was there was outrageously priced. I saw one outfit (that was jeans and a t-shirt) for $25. Ummm? WHAT? It's USED clothing.

The jeans I found were great - they were new with tags Gap and they were $5 - so I was pleased with that - but I really couldn't believe the difference.
