Social Security
I'm not sure if I told you ladies so I will give backstory/new story.
Backstory: Last year and this year we have had trouble filing our taxes. State taxes are fine it's just federal, they keep saying my name and social don't match. I obviously know it's not true. Last year we ended up mailing in our taxes and the refund came on a card. It was only like $1,200 so it wasn't a huge deal as I could just use it for groceries and gas and other items.
New Story: Same problem this year except our refund is much more! I refuse to have that stupid card again because it can't be deposited into our account without a huge fee taken out which I refuse to do. So I finally reached SS office they said because my full name is listed on my card (first middle maiden last) I have to put my maiden name on our taxes. I didn't ask them to put my maiden name on the card that was how the DMV did it so that is how they did it.
So apparently the federal government hyphenated my name and I got no say in it. And now I have to make sure all federal documents are done that way.
