Ok Ladies, we are almost through the first quarter of the year!! Is it me, or does time seem to go by faster as you get older...? So this months challenge is "Have Dinner With An Old Friend. Any updates on your "Do Something Adventurous" challenge?

I may have to do lunch with an old friend instead because she has a crazy schedule. I actually haven't seen her since my wedding day!!

I mentioned it before, but I'm going to look into zip lining. I was also looking at simulated sky diving, but you have to wear this crazy one piece body suit and there are a bunch of other people there with you and I don't think I want to go through that kind of embarrassment!

I actually had lunch with my best friend of 16 years this week. She is currently away at school and we haven't seen each other since my wedding!

My adventurous things is still our bathroom reno...we are renovating both bathrooms because we had some pipes burst, and to access them walls had to be taken down in the bathrooms. So we tho t we may as well renovate since we are taking things down. My H and FIL have spent 2 months on the main bathroom, which is waaaay too long.

But my adventure will be when I try laying the new floors for the basement bathroom! I'm excited try it and I know I can do it! I'll post pics once everything is done/

Totally forgot this was one of the challenges and I just set up a lunch date for Dimsum on Sunday with an old high school friend. We are even going to the same place we went to all the time in high school.

As I posted in the confession Thursday post for this week, I made plans with my friend who is coming into town to visit. We're thinking possibly coffee and dinner from the sounds of it.

edit: just got back from dinner. It went surprisingly well. I told her to pick since she has a little more of a restrictive diet than I do. She opted for a restaurant in town that I have drove by at least a dozen times and had not been to yet in the year that I've been out here. It was nice getting to go to a small restaurant that wasn't a chain. It was fun getting to catch up on things.

I'm seeing my friend I haven't seen since Dec this weekend.
The goal for our adventurous is to try a new food place (Indian, African, Mediterranean), we even purchased groupons for a few places we wanted to try. We just haven't had a free weekend to go yet.

One of my friends who lives 3 1/2 hours away was in town over the weekend and stayed with me, so I had dinner with her two nights!

So, how did everyone do?

I fail - I kept trying to schedule lunch with a friend I haven't seen since my wedding but our schedules are so different and we are about an hour from each other, so that didn't happen. And I haven't done my something adventurous yet. We are planning on going ziplining, but wanted to wait until it got a little warmer, so we are hoping to go at the end of this month.

I went to an old friend's house for dinner around St. Patty's day. It was a lot of fun. I'm counting my BFP as something adventurous.
