Providence Heights Alpha School?
Does anyone have experience with the Alpha School (North Hills)?
It seems to be a small school and first hand experience is hard to find. I plan on attending an open house sometime in the next year. My DD isn't yet 4 but I read on their website to apply 18-24 months before kindergarten.
Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

I'd be interested to hear how long the Administration has been in place. I say this bc I know several people who pulled their kids due to new Admin (granted, this was back in 2007/2008). The "new" Admin at the time was, supposedly, pretty bad (at least compared to prior staff).
And yes, you would have to apply early on - definitely call and ask what the requirements are. Kindergarten may be harder to get in than 1st grade bc, as is similar with St. Alphonsus in Wexford, very few NA schools offer full-day Kindergarten (let alone after-school care, too). I know St. Al's typically saw a loss in quite a few kids come first grade due to this (and public schools are free, obviously!).
Alpha probably gives preferential treatment to incoming students with older siblings at the school. I'm not sure if there is a religious affiliation after that. (Like, St. Al's is: parishioners first, any other Catholic parishioner second, and then open to the public.)
Good luck!
My three sons!
