So what if the movie version of Divergent sucks

As long as we have this, we all leave the theater happy, right?

  • Knowing that Allegiant in evidently coming, Theo may not be enough for me.

  • I really don't have high hopes for this movie, but that could be my bitterness over Allegiant.

  • Well, the reviews so far aren't great.

I will probably skip it. I don't think Theo is enough for me to bother either.

Allegiant killed 95% of my excitement to see this movie. I'll wait until it's on Netflix.

  • I'm very excited, but nervous. Theo should definitely be worth it though :) I still have no idea when I will actually get the chance to see it though

  • My co-worker just slogged through Insurgent. She told me to just tell her what happens in Allegiant, because she couldn't stomach wasting more time on that series. I started telling her what happened, and totally forgot the BIG SHOCKER at the end. That's how little I even bothered with Allegiant. Sucks, because Divergent was so good.

  • I'm kind of expecting the movie to suck, so that way when it does I won't be disappointed.

  • I'm actually going Friday to see it!  I have a personal day to use around my birthday, so I figured it was a good excuse to go at 10AM and only pay 6 bucks.  If it sucks, at least I got the cheap seats?  :-/

  • We're going to go see it, because it's showing in the city's giant cinema, and a few of my colleagues have never been inside it. We've basically been waiting for something that doesn't suck too bad to show in that theater.

(Maybe I'm misguided, but I don't think Divergent could suck more than 300 part two in 3D)

Was it that bad? I loved 300, so I thought maybe I'd like this one too.

I don't know; we didn't go see it. (Hence the plan to go to Divergent.)

I just don't think I would enjoy 3D blood splatter.

  • I'm planning on seeing it next week.  I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised, like I was with Vampire Academy.

  • I have my Friday tickets ready to go. But my expectations could not possibly be lower. I'm prepared to be going there to heckle and yell dirty things at the screen when he comes on. If I actually end up enjoying even one second of the movie it will be more than I am expecting.

  • I just got back from it. They obviously changed stuff as they always do in adaptations but overall I liked it much more than I thought I would.

    And Theo is SO HOT.
